BOH Manager Llywelyn s Pub Webster Groves, MO 63119 Llywelyn’s Pub is looking for an experienced BOH Manager to join our team!! •This position requires the Kitchen Manager to work the line during each of their shifts. This is a very hands-on position. Candidates who have experience in high volume kitchens and who prefer to be in the middle of the action, working alongside their team while coaching and teaching, will be most successful.•Compensation is competitive and based on experience and skill level. Summary of Position:
Directly responsible for all Back of the House functions including food purchasing, preparation and maintenance of quality standards; sanitation and cleanliness; hiring and training of employees in methods of cooking, preparation, plate presentation, and portion and cost control all while upholding the Llywelyn’s Pub culture, ideals, and MVV (Mission, Vision, and Values). The Back of the House Manager will be responsible for maintaining and scheduling proper staffing levels based on location budgets and staffing pars.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in varied kitchen positions including food preparation, line cook, fry cook and expediter. At least 12 months experience in a similar capacity. Sous Chef experience is a plus Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel, and guests. Must have basic working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word programs. Working knowledge of budgets and P/L a plus. Must have a current Food Safety Certification and/or be able to obtain a ServSafe Food Protection Manager certificate. Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds. Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours)
