Assistant Administrator/Program Manager Wright County Children’s Home 528 W Norwood St, Norwood, MO 65717
Requirements:
Applicants must complete an application packet as required by Licensing through the MO Dept of Social Services Children’s Division. Applicants must pass a strict criminal background check. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree in social work or other human services, 4 year’s experience in management/supervision of child care personnel and programs or a Master’s Degree in social work, counseling, social work administration, or related human service and 2 years experience in management/supervision of child care personnel and programs. Be at least 25 years old. Responsibilities- Program Manager/Assistant Administrator Assist with making decisions regarding residents services and treatment. Organizing and maintaining resident’s files. Communicating with caseworkers and other team members regarding the resident’s progress / issues in our program, including health and school. Communicating in-house with therapists, direct-care staff, and administrative staff regarding concerns about the residents and progress being made. Make sure resident needs are meet (medical needs, medications, school, etc.) Case management duties as needed. Refrain from any behavior, communication or participation in any other conduct, including on internet and social media sites, that would reflect adversely on WCCH, its employees, volunteers and/or its residents. Be responsible for maintaining accurate records, processing paperwork for admitting and discharging residents, completing school enrollment and monitoring student progress Schedule medical, dental, vision and mental health appointments as needed, complete necessary paperwork and send medical reports to Case Managers Maintain schedule/calendar of activities and appointments and communicate to house parents. Work directly with the schools to ensure that new students are enrolled and open communication is maintained. Assist with family visitation, travel, discharge, and school withdrawal forms. Plan outings for the residents. Plus other duties as needed

$30,000.00 – $35,000.00 per year
