Bakery Manager Dog Gone LLC Hattiesburg, MS 39402 About the Role We are hiring a full-time Bakery Manager to lead a well-established, high-traffic quick-service food location in Hattiesburg, MS . This is a leadership role focused on customer service, team performance, and maintaining a clean, fast-paced environment with strong brand standards. You will work directly with the business owner to lead a team, control labor and food cost, and drive daily results. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with bakery, café, or food retail experience who’s ready for a leadership position in a structured, brand-driven environment. What You’ll Do Manage day-to-day bakery operations, from open to close Hire, train, and schedule team members Supervise prep, baking, cleaning, and front-of-house service Monitor sales, labor %, and product cost Uphold safety, health code, and brand cleanliness standards Communicate regularly with ownership on goals, staffing, and promotions Qualifications 2+ years experience as a Store Manager or Assistant Manager in a bakery, QSR, café, or food retail environment Experience with food prep, baking, or merchandising preferred Strong leadership and communication skills Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with POS, inventory, and staff coaching Must be willing to work Saturdays and other high-traffic days Schedule Expectations Full-time salaried position Average 50 hours/week Saturday availability required Schedule flexibility increases over time as staff performance improves
Compensation & Perks Salary:
$48,000 – $55,000/year based on experience
