THE JOB:
We seek an experienced and passionate Assistant General Manager for our prestigious Italian Style restaurant. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant management while providing direction and leadership to the team to ensure operational and financial success. You will play a critical role in delivering exceptional guest experiences, optimizing service standards, and achieving our business goals, all while embodying the MGM brand.
THE DAY-TO-DAY
Lead and oversee daily restaurant operations, including labor productivity, scheduling, inventory control, and guest service standards. Implement policies, operating procedures, pricing initiatives, and training programs while ensuring compliance with the company’s standards. Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, and employee satisfaction. Engage with guests frequently to ensure a high level of satisfaction and react promptly to any concerns or complaints. Work closely with the culinary team to ensure a seamless service experience between the kitchen and dining room. Maintain a thorough knowledge of food and beverage products, menu items, and sanitation standards.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Is 21+ years of age 2+ years of high-volume restaurant management experience Bachelor’s Degree or 4+ years of relevant experience Ability to lead and mentor a diverse team while maintaining excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Comprehensive understanding of service steps and customer interaction protocols. Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills to effectively interact with guests, management, and staff.
