Assistant Marine Parts & Service Manager Holden Beach Marina 3238 Pompano Street SW, Supply, NC 28462 Job Summary We are currently looking for an Assistant Parts & Service Manager to help lead a busy and growing department. Potentially could turn into Lead Service Manager. Holden Beach Marina is located right on the ICW, allowing customers to bring their boats for service by water. We also take care of our ~225 storage customers. We mainly work on outboard engines and boats under 34′. As an assistant parts & service manager, you will be responsible for ordering, receiving, selling, and keeping an accurate inventory of all parts.

Other responsibilities include:

Duties Properly price out parts for customers and work orders Write up and pull parts for work orders Work closely with the Service Manager and technicians to ensure a smooth running department Call customers with status updates on their boats Process invoices and payments Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient parts department Implement process improvements to enhance workflow and inventory control Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Prior experience in parts management and/or experience with boats/motors is preferred. All applicants must have a valid driver’s license.

A passion for boats Basic computer skills Proficient in cash handling Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a very fast pace environment Clear communication skills Active listening skills Maintain a high degree of customer satisfaction with the ability to handle all customer interaction with a positive attitude High attention to detail Ability to bend, climb ladders, and work in all weather conditions, including high heat and freezing cold. You will be climbing in and out of boats to get info for workorders.
