JobSummaryChartwells Higher Education is seeking a self-motivatedindividual for the role of General Manager at the University ofNorth Carolina Asheville. In this role, you will advise andparticipate in the day-to-day operations and financial success of alarge multi-unit dining location on the campus. This includesadhering to contract guidelines, the Health Department’sregulations, company standards, and expectations of food quality,freshness, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain client and customer happiness by ensuring food qualityand customer service standards are met consistently. Supervise the hiring, training, and development of staff touphold excellence in service and food quality. Prepare and complete all vital daily, weekly, and financialreports, including those related to food and labor costs. Ensure compliance with all quality and food safety standards toguarantee the health and safety of our customers. Champion strong client relationships to align our programs withtheir objectives, driving happiness and retention. Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficientfunctioning of dining operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate degree preferred but not required. Six or more years of operational food service managementexperience. Knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality,production, sanitation, food cost controls, marketing, andpresentation. Strong leadership abilities with validated experience insupervising and developing staff. Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritizeoptimally. Outstanding customer service skills with a dedication tomaintaining high standards of quality. Proficiency in preparing and analyzing financial reports. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays asneeded. Must be experienced with computers. ServSafe Certified.
