The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of the food service industry, including catering and hospitality management. This role requires a proactive approach to managing staff, ensuring food safety, and delivering exceptional customer service. Duties Lead and manage daily operations to ensure efficiency and high-quality service. Supervise staff, including hiring, training, and conducting performance evaluations. Oversee food handling practices to maintain compliance with health and safety regulations. Manage inventory and ordering processes to ensure adequate supplies while minimizing waste. Implement POS systems effectively for streamlined transactions and reporting. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers for catering services. Create staff schedules to optimize shift management and coverage. Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements based on insights. Ensure a welcoming atmosphere that promotes excellent hospitality. Qualifications Proven experience in food service management or a related field. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulations. Experience with catering operations is preferred. Proficiency in using POS systems for managing transactions. Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team. Strong interviewing skills for effective recruitment of staff members. Culinary knowledge is a plus, enhancing menu development capabilities. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
