Job Details:
SUMMARY:

This position is responsible to assist in controlling expenses; provide for thepliance and coordination of the federal meat inspection and OSHA requirements; interpret and enforcepany policies; maintain non- union program; assist in the determination of manpower needs and makes rmendations; prepare and maintain prescribed records and reports to ensure that they reflect conditions accurately; solve problems in an effective manner with sound follow up; work with department heads to meet production quality yields goals and metrics goals while at the same time ensuring the maintenance of labor standards and quality of performance and product; inspect and maintain a high degree ofpetence in the areas of housekeeping safety sanitation security and food safety; manage evaluate and train production supervisors; and oversee all designated shift operations and any other responsibilities as deemed necessary by the plant manager.

REQUIREMENTS
Education:

High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

5 plus years of supervisory experience in either food manufacturing or similar manufacturing environment; and knowledge of OSHA, USDA, and HAACP regulations.

Computer Skills:

Standardputer skills.

Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and writtenmunication skills. Must be capable ofmunicating well both verbally and in writing with all levels of Team Members from hourly to upper management as well as government officials.

Special Skills:

Leader problem solver team player.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Manage subordinate supervisors who supervise team members in the plant; carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization s policies and applicable laws; interview hire and train team members; plan assign and direct work; monitor and appraise work performance; reward coach counsel and discipline team members; addressplaints and resolve problems.

Lead people by example accept and delegate responsibility display sound judgment and decision making skills; problem solve in an efficient manner with sound follow up; strong managerial skills necessary; excellent safety and attendance records. Ability to work with department heads to meet safety production and quality yields and meet goals. All Tyson Team Members are responsible for safety. This includes but is not limited to personal safety and food safety. This position is responsible for food safety food quality and legality.
