Job Description

⚐ ⚑ ⚑ ? Rockstar Household Manager / Organizational Assistant ? (Durham)  compensation: $18-$24/hr Are you a proactive, detail oriented individual with a passion for organization and helping others? I’m a busy entrepreneur working from home in South Durham, seeking a Rockstar Household Manager to help bring more order and efficiency to my home and home office. This part-time, 1099 independent contractor role offers flexible, mostly weekday hours, approximately 15-25 hours per week over 2-4 days. Reliable transportation to South Durham is essential. ✅

Qualifications:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organization and time management abilities
  • Effective problem solving skills
  • Detail oriented and results driven
Tech-savvy:

proficient with Google Docs and comfortable learning new software/apps

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude and receptive to direct communication style
  • Must pass a background and criminal check (open to discussing past hiccups if they’re no longer a concern)
  • Reliable transportation for commute to South Durham ?️
Responsibilities:
  • Light cleaning and tidying: dishes, trash/recycling, organizing personal items
  • Meal prep and light cooking: focus on organic and natural ingredients with lots of vegetables and free-range or wild-caught proteins
  • Managing household inventory, maintenance, and subscription accounts
  • Coordinating and hiring subcontractors (cleaning, lawn care, handymen, etc.)
  • Opening, sorting, and filing mail
Organizing:

garage, closets, office, pantry, storage unit

  • Laundry
  • General household tasks: watering plants, weeding, changing light bulbs and air filters
  • Assisting with the setup of new Airbnb/furnished rental units as needed
  • Running errands (grocery shopping, returns, post office, etc.)
