Job Description:
We are searching for a manager with cooking expertise to join our mobile kitchen. With your culinary and managerial experience, you will lead our team to create food that our guests have come to expect and enjoy. If you have experience leading a team to provide guests with a sanitary and pleasurable dining experience, we’d love to meet you. Driving the food truck is a necessity in this position, please do not apply if you are not able to do this.

Responsibilities:
Confidently drive a 30ft food truck. Lead, mentor, and manage the team. Prepping before service. Cleaning the truck after service. Manage food inventory. Maintain standards for food storage, rotation, quality, and appearance. Ensure compliance with applicable health codes and regulations.
Qualifications and Skills:
Demonstrated knowledge of culinary techniques and practices. Understanding of menu and recipe development techniques. Strong leadership abilities. Understanding of health and sanitation laws. Knife-handling skills. Flat top and fryer experience.

This is a W-2 position. Pay rate is between $15-$20/hr depending on experience. There is a potential to discuss profit sharing for serious and long term employees. Because we are mobile the hours will vary so open availability is a must. Employees are also entitled to one shift meal. Our service area includes Jacksonville, New Bern and Wilmington areas.. travel time is not included in pay UNLESS you are driving the truck. We are a drug free workplace.
