White Mountain Highway, North Conway, NH 03818 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant’s front-of-house team. This role is crucial in ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service in a fine dining or casual dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and service excellence. Responsibilities Manage and supervise the front-of-house staff, ensuring they provide outstanding service to all guests. Oversee daily operations, including guest seating, reservations, and staff scheduling. Maintain a clean and welcoming atmosphere in the dining area. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards throughout all operations. Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure seamless communication between front-of-house and back-of-house operations. Train and mentor staff on service techniques, menu knowledge, and hospitality best practices. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally. Utilize POS systems effectively for order processing and payment transactions. Assist in managing inventory levels for front-of-house supplies and equipment. Qualifications Previous experience in a management role within casual dining settings is preferred. Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations. Proficiency with POS systems and other restaurant management software. Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on customer service. A background in culinary arts or food production is a plus but not required.
