Front of House Manager Boardwalk Inn & Cafe 139 Ocean Boulevard, Hampton, NH 03842 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food and hospitality industry, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires effective leadership skills to manage staff, ensure smooth service operations, and maintain high standards of food handling and safety. Responsibilities Lead and manage front of house staff, including training and development to enhance performance and service quality. Oversee daily operations in the bar and dining areas, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Implement training programs focused on bartending techniques, food handling practices, and customer service excellence. Coordinate banquet services and special events, ensuring all details are executed flawlessly. Manage shift schedules to optimize staff coverage during peak hours while maintaining operational efficiency. Monitor guest feedback and address any concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication between front and back of house operations. Uphold health and safety standards in compliance with local regulations. Experience Proven experience in a management role within the food service or hospitality industry is essential. Strong background in staff training and development, with a focus on enhancing team performance. Familiarity with bartending practices and beverage service is highly desirable. Experience in banquet management or event coordination is a plus. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead by example and motivate team members effectively.
