The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, ensuring food safety, and maintaining high standards of quality in food preparation and service. As a Manager, you will be responsible for creating a positive work atmosphere while driving operational excellence. Duties Supervise daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring efficient service and adherence to quality standards. Manage inventory control and food production processes to minimize waste and optimize resources. Train, develop, and mentor staff in areas such as customer service, food handling, and operational procedures. Oversee cash handling procedures and maintain accurate financial records. Implement effective shift management strategies to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new team members. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards. Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration and high performance. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen management to ensure timely food preparation and presentation. Experience Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry. Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary practices. Familiarity with POS systems such as Premier POS or Shift4 POS is preferred. Experience in fine dining or casual dining settings is advantageous. Demonstrated ability in staff training, development, and team management. Knowledge of budgeting and financial management within a restaurant context is beneficial. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team. Strong customer service orientation with effective communication skills. Previous experience in hospitality management or kitchen management is desirable. A background in catering or banquet services is a plus.
