Assistant General Manager PJK Talent Brielle, NJ 08730 Job Summary The Assistant General Manager in our fine dining Italian restaurant plays a pivotal role in supporting the overall operations of the business, ensuring exceptional customer service and driving sales performance. This position involves assisting the General Manager in daily management tasks, overseeing staff, of 170 and maintaining a high standard of service within the retail environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in beverage creation & upscale customer service, with an emphasis on FOH operations. Duties Assist in managing daily operations to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to company policies. Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and enhancing the overall dining experience. Support sales initiatives by promoting food and services beverages to meet or exceed sales targets. Monitor inventory levels and assist with budgeting to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing costs. Train, mentor, and supervise staff to foster a positive work environment and enhance team performance. Conduct regular market analysis to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities. Implement effective time management strategies to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects. Skills Strong customer service skills with a focus on building lasting relationships with guests and the community. Proven experience in upscale dining, demonstrating an ability to drive revenue growth. Proficient in budgeting and financial management, with strong mathematical skills for pricing and inventory control. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to analyze market trends and adapt strategies accordingly for improved business outcomes.
