As the Deli Manager, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure that our deli meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Responsibilities Supervise daily operations of the deli department, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain optimal stock. Train, mentor, and foster a positive work environment. Handle cash transactions accurately and manage the point-of-sale (POS) system effectively. Develop and implement catering services to meet customer needs. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area, ensuring all products are displayed attractively. Enhance overall store performance and customer satisfaction. Requirements Previous experience as a deli counter person is a must. Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, including food preparation techniques and safety standards. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team. Experience with cash handling and familiarity with POS systems. Background in catering or food service is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and staff.
