This position is responsible for directing and supervising all activities of the Seafood Department to achieve goals in sales, profit, customer satisfaction, and associate engagement, all while upholding our core values and service priorities.

Experience and Skills Required:

Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English. Basic math and computer skills. Capable of standing, walking, lifting (up to 60 lbs), and performing physical tasks throughout the shift. Comfortable working with a variety of seafood products without allergic reactions. Ability to work in different temperatures and tolerate dust and cleaning agents. Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with customers and team members. Commitment to work all scheduled hours and comply with company policies. Leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate department associates.

Key Responsibilities:

Uphold and enforce all company policies, local, state, and federal laws and regulations, particularly those related to food safety and compliance. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety standards. Engage customers with a friendly and helpful attitude, promoting sales and charitable activities. Oversee the hiring, training, and development of department associates, fostering a culture of teamwork and engagement. Ensure the Seafood Department is well-presented, with properly stocked and rotated merchandise, adhering to company presentation standards. Efficiently manage department operations, regulatory compliance, and financial objectives, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet targets.
