Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure our team delivers outstanding service and high-quality dining experiences. The Manager will lead and support staff during shifts, manage customer interactions, and handle administrative tasks to help our restaurant run smoothly. This role requires strong leadership skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to resolve issues efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Supervision:
Lead and supervise restaurant staff during assigned shifts, ensuring everyone is working together to meet service standards.
Training & Development:
Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching to ensure service excellence and adherence to restaurant policies.
Customer Service:
Address customer complaints or issues quickly and professionally, ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests.
Operational Efficiency:
Manage shift schedules, track attendance, and handle any staffing adjustments needed to meet operational demands.
Quality Control:
Oversee food quality, presentation, and cleanliness of the restaurant to maintain high standards.
Inventory & Supplies:
Monitor inventory levels during the shift, assist with stock replenishment, and communicate with management about supply needs.
Cash Handling:
Reconcile cash registers at the beginning and end of shifts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with cash handling policies.
Health & Safety Compliance:
Enforce health, safety, and sanitation regulations, to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
Conflict Resolution:
Address and resolve any conflicts among staff or with guests effectively and respectfully. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, often up to 8 hours per shift. Ability to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds. Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, and reaching. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that can include exposure to varying temperatures.
Qualifications Experience:
At least 1-2 years of experience in a restaurant or hospitality role, with prior supervisory experience preferred.
Leadership Skills:
Strong ability to lead, motivate, and mentor a team in a busy, customer-focused environment.
Communication Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
Problem-Solving Skills:
Ability to think on your feet, handle stressful situations, and resolve conflicts professionally.
Organizational Skills:
Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail and commitment to upholding restaurant standards.
Availability:
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
