As a Shift manager, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service while ensuring that our food and beverage offerings meet the highest standards of quality and safety. You will be responsible for various tasks, including food preparation, order taking, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the café. Responsibilities Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly and assisting them with their orders. Operate the Aloha POS system efficiently to process transactions accurately. Prepare food items according to established recipes and food safety guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and dining spaces. Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or a similar role is preferred but not required. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha, is a plus. Strong understanding of food safety practices and sanitation standards. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
