The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong background in managing catering services, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. As the Catering Manager, you will oversee all aspects of catering events, from planning and preparation to execution and staff management. This role requires excellent organizational skills, creativity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Position also receives commission, and gratuity if working events. Responsibilities Plan and coordinate drop-off catering, which is 90% of position. Involves taking phone orders from customers and pulling orders from website. 10% of position is in-house events, which require menu coordination with the customer and the executive chef and back of house staff. Supervise staff on food preparation, service standards, and safety protocols. Manage banquet setups, including layout design and equipment arrangements. Oversee banquet staff to ensure smooth operations during events. Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation throughout all catered events. Collaborate with clients to customize menus that meet their specific needs and preferences. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary. Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards at all times. Experience Proven experience in casual dining or catering management is preferred. Strong background in supervising teams within the hospitality industry. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and banquet service is essential. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with clients and team members alike. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Must have proficient Word & Excel, and Google Sheets skills.
