We’re looking for a General Manager to run day-to-day operations at Three Decker Diner, a high-volume, full-service diner with deep roots in the Greenpoint community. If you know how to lead a team, drive great service, and take ownership of your restaurant, we want to meet you. ✅

What You’ll Be Doing:

Running all FOH operations with energy, urgency, and precision Leading a staff of servers, bartenders, and support — hiring, training, coaching, holding people accountable Managing scheduling, payroll, tip-outs, cash handling, end-of-day reporting Keeping the service tight: table turns, check delivery, customer experience Making sure the cash drawer is accurate, labor costs are under control, and inventory is tight Driving bar sales through leadership, product knowledge, and teamwork Keeping Square POS organized (menu upkeep, pricing, modifiers, etc.) Promoting specials, events, and ways to grow revenue Acting like an owner — because that’s how we work here ????

What We’re Looking For:

2-3 years of experience as a General Manager, Assistant GM, or Floor Manager Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills Hands-on, not afraid to work a station, run food, or talk to guests Experience with POS systems (Square preferred), labor management, and inventory NYC Food Protection Certificate or willing to get one A “get it done” mindset — we need someone who moves fast and solves problems ????

Love diners, classic hospitality, and neighborhood vibes Have experience managing a bar program or driving booze sales Are organized, direct, and cool under pressure Want to grow with a business that values leadership and autonomy ????

Schedule:
