Summary of the position:

Welcomes and assists customers with deli department needs Sets the standard and models how to take customer orders and suggests additional sales in the department Delegates tasks, stocking and refilling of products to department employees Trains employees how to properly prepare items including: sandwiches, subs, salads, deli trays, pizza, rotisserie chickens, heat and eat, and ready to eat items Ensures quality products are available based on customer demand, which includes placing orders required for the deli department Verifies price and sale items accuracy within the department Verifies products received through deliveries match orders placed and invoices received Meets or exceeds profitability goal set my store manager Ensures and trains compliance with State and County safety and sanitation standards, and NY State Bureau of Weights and Measures throughout the department Provides direction, supervision, and performance management while promoting a positive “Team” atmosphere What we look for in you: Full time availability Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills Previous supervisory experience The ability to effectively prioritize responsibilities and meet assigned deadlines Ability to work both as an individual contributor and a team member Sound organizational, time management, and records management skills Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards Focused and efficient The ability to stand, walk, lift and bend for extended periods of time What we can offer you for all your hard work: Medical and Dental Coverage (FT) 401(K) Paid Time Off (FT) Sick Time (PT) ______________________________________________________________________ Honeoye Falls Marketplace and Mendon Meadows is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
