Full-Time, Monday-Friday (with flexibility for occasional evenings, weekends, or travel)

Compensation:

Position Overview:

A sophisticated and accomplished female principal on the Upper West Side is seeking a highly capable Executive Personal Assistant / Household Manager to provide seamless support across her personal, household, and professional life. This hybrid role requires a resourceful, detail-oriented, and proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can anticipate needs, and manages logistics with warmth, precision, and discretion. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong service mindset who enjoys managing both the finer details and the broader picture of a private household and professional calendar. The right candidate will serve as a trusted gatekeeper, right hand, and facilitator of calm, comfort, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
Executive Assistant Duties:

Manage complex scheduling across multiple time zones, including professional meetings, virtual calls, and personal engagements Liaise with business contacts, board members, and advisors on the principal’s behalf Handle confidential documents, organize files, and assist with special business projects and presentations Prepare meeting briefs, talking points, and follow-ups as needed Monitor and respond to high-volume email inboxes with tact and efficiency Coordinate with professional staff (legal, finance, PR, etc.) and manage deadlines and deliverables Book and coordinate business travel (air, ground, hotel, itineraries) Track expenses and prepare simple reports or liaise with accountant/bookkeeper as needed

Personal Assistant Duties:

Handle daily to-do lists and prioritize personal tasks for the principal Run errands, handle returns/exchanges, coordinate dry cleaning, pharmacy, etc. Maintain wardrobe management, packing/unpacking, seasonal rotation, and returns Source and purchase luxury items, gifts, personal care products, and home items Book personal appointments: health/wellness, beauty, dining, etc. Provide support with social calendar and RSVP/event coordination Arrange occasional personal travel and detailed itineraries Serve as a discreet liaison for friends, family, and personal service providers

Household Manager Duties:

Oversee all household operations for a well-appointed Manhattan residence Supervise vendors, service staff, contractors, and cleaners to ensure excellence and discretion Manage household schedules for deep cleaning, maintenance, seasonal décor, etc. Maintain household manuals, contact lists, passwords, and project trackers Manage home inventory and order restocks (groceries, supplies, specialty items) Oversee home organization systems—closets, kitchen, storage, etc. Assist in planning and executing small in-home events or gatherings Conduct regular walkthroughs to ensure cleanliness, comfort, and guest readiness Coordinate tech support, repairs, home deliveries, and troubleshooting

Ideal Candidate Profile:

3+ years of experience in a similar private service role supporting a high-profile or high-net-worth individual Prior experience in NYC strongly preferred Polished, poised, and highly professional; acts with integrity, maturity, and emotional intelligence

Tech-savvy:

proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, iCal, Zoom, and various project or calendar apps Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented, with excellent time management skills Discreet and trustworthy with a high degree of confidentiality Able to anticipate needs and solve problems before they arise Graceful under pressure and adaptable to changing priorities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Comfortable managing both high-level strategy and day-to-day minutiae

Additional Information:

Must be based in New York City or able to relocate

Travel:

Light domestic/international travel may be requested occasionally Valid U.S. work authorization required Background check and strong references required
