About the Role Seaport Entertainment is looking for Training General Manager to support our New York SEG locations. The Training General Manager is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing effective training programs across various locations to ensure delivery of exceptional service and operational excellence in all food and beverage operations. This role requires a strategic thinker with ability to be hands-on and tactical, with an in depth understanding of food and beverage operations. What You Will Do Design, develop, and implement comprehensive training programs for all levels of front of hours staff Collaborate across departments and stakeholders to identify training needs and align programs with business goals Conduct training sessions using various modes (e.g. workshops, classroom, e-learning, on the job training, etc. to accommodate different learning styles and business concepts Continuously update and improve training materials to reflect brand and company standards/policies, industry and best practices, and regulatory requirements Assess effectiveness of training programs through feedback, performance metrics and observations, and make adjustments to enhance outcomes Identify and cultivate potential leaders, in partnership with department heads and HR Diagnose and recommend solutions that impact leadership development, employee relations, retention Manage training progress and completion of new hires, collaborate with department heads, and ensure consistent application of training programs Lead communications, rollout, and execution around training initiatives Support, and facilitate employee engagement and recognition programs in tandem with HR Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices. Participates on committees and special projects as needed Exercises considerable judgment, confidentiality and discretion during course of employment activity Operate ethically to protect the assets and image of the company. Performs other duties and responsibilities as per business need About You Minimum 5 years experience working in F&B operation Minimum 2 years in senior management experience, preferably in multi unit setting Impactful presentation, delivery, and teaching skills Experience working with a majority non-exempt workforce Superior organization skills with ability to oscillate between priorities quickly Collaborative work style and ability to work effectively across multiple levels and departments. Results oriented with ability to effectively manage projects and tight deadlines. Service oriented, collaborative approach has exceptional follow up and organization skills. Excellent problem solving and interpsonal skills. Strong leadership, high EQ, and relationship building skills. Must possess excellent oral, written, presentation and listing skills. Able to work onsite 5 days per week and flexible schedule that aligns with operational needs Proficient in Microsoft office products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) Physical Requirements Ability to perform the essential job functions consistent safely and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. Ability to stand for prolong periods of time. Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly frequent movements from place to place within the store. Bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms, climb steps regularly, and hands above shoulder height frequently, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment.

Compensation:

$90k – 110k a year
