Assistant General Manager (AGM) / Restaurant Manager Burgerology Huntington, NY 11743 Burgerology is now hiring managers in Nassau county and Suffolk county NY. We are looking to hire an experienced manager with full service restaurant experience Our ideal candidate will have Wine/Beer/Spirit knowledge and be able to create a modern beverage program that can accommodate all of our guests. Manager responsibilities include delegating tasks to restaurant staff, addressing diners’ queries and ensuring compliance with safety/health regulations. If you have excellent organizational and team management skills and experience in the food industry, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help us create a memorable dining experience for our guests and help increase our profitability. We are looking for hard working individuals to join our team that can help us grow and grow with us. If you can exceed our expectations as a manager, you will have the opportunity to be a general manager and eventually work with our operations team. Responsibilities Delegate tasks to restaurant staff and supervise their performance Maintain a fully-stocked inventory and order supplies, as needed Arrange to have shifts covered (e.g. when employees take time off) Help staff resolve on-the-job challenges Track daily costs and revenues Balance the cash register at the end of the shift Ensure client satisfaction and gracefully handle any complaints Open or close the restaurant (when responsible for the first or last shift) Inform the next Manager about pending tasks Report maintenance and training needs Skills Proven experience/track record as a General Manager or shift manager of a restaurant Good knowledge of restaurant operations (like managing POS systems and opera payments) Availability to work different shifts, including weekends A customer service approach with the ability to manage complaints with professionalism Excellent organizational skills Team management abilities If you feel that you meet the above standards and you want to work for a rapidly growing restaurant group with the ability to advance in an organization please respond with your resume.’ ‘ This Company Describes Its Culture as: Detail-oriented
