High volume restaurant company is looking for a qualified, experienced restaurant manager. Applicants should be experienced in all aspects of a full-service restaurant with the ability to oversee all departments. Salary will be commensurate with skill level and experience. Job Description Manager Description Daisy s Nashville Lounge is currently looking for a Restaurant Manager. At Daisy s Nashville Lounge, our management teams are constantly evolving to keep our offerings fun and exciting. While preparing unique and Nashville inspired cuisine, we also entertain our guests with live music and the Nashville vibe. We accomplish this by hiring the best employees based on personality and guest rapport and selecting the best bands, both local and from Nashville. Our original menu has expanded beyond the bar menu to include entrees and unique sharing plates designed by our chef. Daisy s bar boasts delicious craft cocktails and fun, energetic service. We carry primarily American Products with a vast bourbon selection of unique and different brands. We are searching for a reliable, innovative restaurant manager to supervise operations at our busy restaurant. The restaurant manager’s duties include scheduling shifts, balancing cash registers, and overseeing payroll. You should also address customers’ complaints and queries in a swift, courteous manner. To be successful as a restaurant manager, you should implement ownership qualities with an ability to minimize costs and improve profitability. An outstanding restaurant manager will contribute to the professional development of staff.
COMPENSATION
While our starting salary for an assistant manager is $65,000, experience, ability and role will for higher salary.

This position will be responsible for tasks including scheduling, beverage purchasing & inventory, daily financial reporting & management, hiring and training of all line level positions, managing and driving service standards at high volume and developing food and cocktail menus with our owners and chef.

Restaurant Manager Responsibilities:
Opening and closing the restaurant. Appointing, inducting, and mentoring new staff members. Scheduling shifts and assigning tables to waitstaff. Resolving customers’ questions and grievances in a professional manner. Conducting payroll activities in an accurate, timely manner. Ensuring that the restaurant adheres to pertinent health and safety regulations. Purchasing and inventories. Work with ownership to source and schedule the best live music available. Sourcing better deals on all resources and equipment that warrant replacing or replenishing. Setting and enforcing quality and safety controls. Ensuring licenses are updated and in line with current legislation. Recording all income and expenses and ensuring that cash registers are balanced. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Previous supervisory experience within a restaurant. Prior experience using a POS System Computer skills in Excel and Word. Knowledge and use of social media platforms. Strong leadership skills with an ability to develop employees. Excellent conflict resolution abilities with guests and employees. Innovative, trustworthy, and impartial.
