Strong’s Marine is looking for a Marina General Manager to lead our flagship location in Mattituck , a scenic, waterfront hub for high-end boating and unforgettable summer moments. About the Role As Marina General Manager , you’ll take full ownership of daily operations, team leadership, customer satisfaction, and profitability at our Mattituck location. Reporting to the Director of Operations, you’ll set the standard for service excellence, safety, and client engagement. This is a high-visibility leadership role ideal for someone who loves boats, builds strong teams, and drives results. What You’ll Do Oversee day-to-day marina operations in alignment with our service culture, policies, and procedures. Set the tone for professionalism and client service to help improve our Net Promoter Score (NPS). Participate in the annual budgeting process; monitor performance monthly, investigate variances, and implement corrective actions. Provide regular performance updates to the Director of Operations. Conduct facility evaluations and take action to uphold appearance and safety standards. Ensure the safety and maintenance of all marina equipment, property, docks, and grounds. Provide training for staff on safety practices and job functions. Collaborate with leadership to execute facility, equipment, and capital improvements. Maintain professional relationships with clients, vendors, agencies, and contractors. Resolve customer concerns in alignment with company values. Support sales initiatives by collaborating with Marketing, Sales Management, and the Pre-Owned Sales team. Share knowledge and support fellow General Managers to ensure a consistent, high-quality client experience across all locations. Manage staffing needs including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training seasonal and full-time team members. Conduct timely performance reviews and ensure supervisory staff do the same. Partner with the Training Department to develop individual growth paths for team members. Support yacht shows, events, and promotional activities as needed. Ensure yachts on premises are kept in sale-ready condition. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and safety/environmental regulations. Follow all operational policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
