Position Summary:

The Assistant General Manager is responsible for ensuring the restaurant runs smoothly day-to-day, supporting the GM in achieving operational excellence, team performance, guest satisfaction, and financial success.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and motivate FOH team members to deliver outstanding guest experiences Support hiring, training, scheduling, and development of staff Maintain high standards for cleanliness, food quality, and service Assist with inventory, ordering, and cost control Monitor sales, labor, and other KPIs with a data-driven mindset Handle guest concerns with professionalism and urgency Ensure all company policies, safety procedures, and health codes are followed Step in as Manager on Duty as needed

Qualifications:

2+ years of management experience in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Calm under pressure and solution-oriented Passion for hospitality and team development Experience with POS systems, labor scheduling, and ordering platforms a plus Flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays)
