Description Pierogies Plus, Inc. seeks Food Manager in McKees Rocks, PA to plan, direct and coordinate activities of our authentic Polish cuisine catering business for various events, especially Polish weddings.
Duties will include:
supervising cooks at our business location and at catering events within the greater Pittsburgh area; specifying equipment necessary for our kitchen and catering events; ordering food and ingredients; establishing relationships with Polish-speaking clients; and preparing food with the assistance of cooks.
Requirements:
Two years of experience as a manager for a catering or restaurant operation. Must be fluent in Polish in order to communicate with Polish (non-English)-speaking cooks. Local travel required to catering events within the greater Pittsburgh area (Pittsburgh MSA).
