OVERVIEW
The Food Service Manager at the Environmental Charter School is a part of the Food Service Team. The Food Service Manager must be an organized individual in charge of designing and implementing systems that work in the meal space. We are looking for an individual who can think creatively about the room and use previous experiences in the service industry to create a controlled, structured and comfortable space. In addition to overseeing the systems, this position requires working on the Food Service Team helping serve lunch and breakfast, acting as a positive role model and interfacing with students. This position will supervise two Food Service Assistants and substitute staff. Education and Experience College degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum 1 year of food industry experience Supervisory experience and Food Safety Certification preferred Compensation and Benefits Minimum starting salary of $40,480 with consideration for prior year experience Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-, and long-term disability insurance, generous paid time off, and participation in a generous 403b retirement plan.
