Assistant General Manager, Earl’s New American Peddler’s Village 3.0 3.0 out of 5 stars Lahaska, PA 18931 Anchored in the culinary traditions that made it one of the area’s favorite restaurants. Earl’s New American pairs the rustic charm and romance of a Buck’s County farmhouse with contemporary cuisine. Earl’s New American Restaurant located in beautiful Peddler’s Village, is in search of an experienced Assistant General Manager to join our leadership team. The AGM assists the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, with a strong emphasis on staff management, guest service and financial performance. The AGM assists the General Manager in providing leadership and support to the team and manages daily restaurant operations to ensure every guest has an exceptional experience. Leadership Create and nurture an environment that emphasizes motivation, empowerment, teamwork, continuous improvement and a passion for providing service. Provide excellent customer service to all team members Respond quickly and proactively to team members’ concerns. Provide a learning atmosphere with a focus on continuous improvement. Provide proactive coaching and counseling to team members. Encourage and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members. Ensure and maintain the productivity level of team members. Provide the leadership, vision and direction to bring together and prioritize the restaurant’s goals in a way that will be efficient and effective. Provide guidance and direction to team members, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance. Identify the developmental needs of others and coach, mentor, train or otherwise help others to improve their knowledge or skills.
Operational Oversight:
Supervise daily operations Create weekly schedules Maintain restaurant cleanliness and organization. Enforce restaurant standards and company policies.
Financial Management:
Assist in budget preparation and cost control. Monitor sales and profitability. Manage payroll and other financial tasks.
Guest Service:
Ensure a positive guest experience through excellent service and food quality. Address guest complaints and concerns promptly. Monitor guest feedback and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 2-5 years of progressive leadership experience within the Food and Beverage Industry Ability to work flexible hours. RAMP and Serv Safe Certified or the ability to become certified Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Computer proficiency in relevant software (e.g., point-of-sale systems, inventory management and payroll). Ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
