Banquet Event Manager Phoenix Sport Club 301 West Bristol Road, Feasterville-Trevose, PA 19053 Phoenix Sport Club is seeking to hire an events manager for their newly renovated banquet room and outdoor picnic area. Qualified candidates will possess a friendly demeanor and skills in hospitality, leadership, time management, and communication. Event manager is responsible for responding to client inquiries regarding banquet room / outdoor bookings via email and phone, answering client questions as they pertain to Phoenix banquets (availability, offerings, price, etc.), coordinating client tour of facility as requested, and overseeing all day-of event aspects, including: managing Phoenix staff, supporting the back of house and bar, working with catering crew to ensure timely and quality service, and providing hospitality to the guests, ensuring all their needs are met. Event manager will work closely with and receive support from the Phoenix Board of Directors. This position is part-time. Weekend availability is required as most events take place on the weekend. Events can include weddings, birthday parties, communion parties, bridal / baby showers, and Phoenix Sport Club organized events for club members. Event manager can expect to work 1-2 events per week, with up to 4 events per week possible during busy months. Event manager must be on-site for all events. Booking events and responding to clients can be considered a work from home role. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals.
