Clubhouse Food and Beverage Manager 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars 80 Jacksonville Road, Ivyland, PA 18974 Position Overview The Club House Food & Beverage Manager at a country club oversees all dining operations—from casual snacks and banquets to fine dining service. This leader ensures exceptional guest experiences, efficient service delivery, and strong financial performance, while maintaining the club’s high standards and community atmosphere. Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic Leadership Develops and executes a cohesive F&B strategy in alignment with the club’s vision and membership needs. Sets annual revenue targets, operating budgets, and cost-control goals. Collaborates closely with the General Manager on capital expenditures, renovations, and new program development. 2. Operations & Guest Experience Oversees daily operations across all F&B outlets (halfway house, hospitality cart, casual dining, catering/banquets). Ensures high-quality food, impeccable presentation, and outstanding service standards. Actively monitors guest satisfaction and drives service improvements. 3. Team Management & Training Hires, supervises, and develops all F&B staff, including managers, chefs, servers, and event coordinators. Implements ongoing training in guest service, food safety, and brand standards. Conducts regular performance reviews and fosters a positive, team-oriented culture. 4. Banqueting & Events Partners with event planners to design, price, and execute special events—weddings, tournaments, member socials, and corporate gatherings. Manages banquet budgets, timelines, staffing, and vendor coordination. Ensures seamless service flow and member satisfaction during events. 5. Financial & Inventory Control Oversees P&L performance, monitors departmental KPIs (cost of goods sold, labor productivity, waste, etc.). Implements purchasing strategies and establishes strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate pricing and maintain quality. Manages inventory systems, ensures accurate forecasting, and controls waste. 6. Menu Development & Trends Works with Executive Chef to plan attractive menus with seasonal, regional, and member-preferred offerings. Drives innovation—introduces fresh cuisine, themed dinners, wine pairings, and off-season specials. Seeks feedback on trends—healthier options, local sourcing, dietary accommodations. 7. Compliance & Facility Management Ensures compliance with state and local regulations (food safety, health codes, liquor licensing). Coordinates with F&B and maintenance teams for facility upkeep—kitchens, dining room, bars, and outdoor venues. Maintains brand standards in décor, uniforms, and cleanliness. 8. Member Relations Builds strong relationships with members—seeks feedback, resolves service concerns, tailors offerings to preferences. Partners with other departments—golf, facilities, membership—to integrate offerings and drive cross-departmental events. Acts as the public face for F&B, representing the club at meetings, tastings, and community outreach. Essential Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related. 5+ years in food & beverage management; upscale/country club dining environments experience a plus Skills Strong financial acumen and budget control. Exceptional leadership, communication, and guest-service orientation. Expertise in menu planning, banquet/event execution, and compliance. Proficient in F&B and POS systems; inventory and scheduling software knowledge.
