Bar Manager The Franklin House Tavern 101 North Market Street, Schaefferstown, PA 17088 Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar Manager to lead our bar operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, with a proven track record in managing bar staff and operations. As the Bar Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, maintaining high standards of customer service, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Duties Supervise bar staff to ensure efficient service and adherence to company policies. Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests and addressing their needs promptly. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies, tracking usage, and minimizing waste. Develop and implement training programs for staff on drink preparation, customer service, and food handling practices. Collaborate with kitchen management to create drink pairings that enhance the dining experience. Conduct interviews and hire new staff members as needed to maintain a skilled team. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with health regulations. Monitor bar performance metrics and implement strategies for improvement. Experience Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or food service industry is essential. Strong background in customer service with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences. Knowledge of hospitality management principles, including food handling and safety standards. Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Experience in kitchen management or cooking is a plus but not required.
