Role:

The Banquet Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of events at our Main Clubhouse, Pool, Shooting Lodge, Golf Course, and catering. This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of banquet operations, from pre-opening preparations to post-event evaluations. The Banquet Manager will work closely with the Events Department to understand their needs and ensure that all services are delivered to the highest standards. The Banquet Manager is key to creating memorable experiences for our members and guests, contributing to the overall reputation of our establishment in the private club industry.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent experience in a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in banquet management or a similar role. Must have valid Driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a luxury hospitality environment. Certification in food safety and sanitation. Must be available to work nights, holidays and weekends

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and manage all banquet events, ensuring seamless execution from start to finish. Oversee the banquet staff, providing training and support to ensure high levels of customer service. Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and implement improvements for future events. Work with third party staffing agencies Budget payroll and schedule accordingly throughout the year Attend, inform, and contribute to all food and beverage meetings Exercise flexibility withinthe planning and execution process Other duties as assigned

Essential Functions:

Ability to lift 50 or more pounds Ability to stand for extended periods of time

Skills:

The required skills in hospitality management and customer service training are essential for leading a team that delivers exceptional member/guest experiences. The ability to work in a service-oriented manner is crucial. Experience with pre-opening processes to effectively prepare for new events and adapt to changing circumstances.
