Dining Room Manager Philmont Country Club 301 Tomlinson Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006

Position Summary:

The Dining Room Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the country club’s dining facilities to ensure an exceptional dining experience for members and guests. This includes supervising dining room staff, maintaining high service standards, managing reservations and member preferences, and working closely with the kitchen and events teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and lead dining room staff including servers, hosts, bussers, and bartenders Ensure consistent high-quality service and a welcoming atmosphere for all members and guests Manage daily floor operations, seating arrangements, and service flow Coordinate with the Executive Chef and kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food service Handle member requests, special occasions, and complaints professionally and promptly Train, mentor, and schedule front-of-house staff, ensuring adherence to service standards and club policies Oversee cleanliness, ambiance, and proper setup of the dining room(s) Maintain a strong presence during service hours, engaging with members and ensuring satisfaction Work with the events and banquet team to support club functions and private events as needed Assist with budgeting, payroll, inventory, and cost control as directed by management Monitor and uphold health, safety, and sanitation standards

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in food and beverage or hospitality management, preferably in a private club or fine dining environment Strong leadership, team-building, and customer service skills Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities Knowledge of wine, spirits, and fine dining etiquette is a plus Proficient in POS systems, Microsoft Office, and reservation software Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as required

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Comfortable working in a fast-paced, service-focused environment

Pay:

$15/Hour Added to the 22%

Service Cahrge Tip Pool Job Types:

Part-time, Seasonal Pay:

$15.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
