Overview:

The Assistant Manager supports the General Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service, the achievement of financial goals, and the development of team members. This role requires a hands-on leader who is passionate about food and hospitality, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and adherence to company standards. Ensure food quality and safety standards are maintained. Monitor and manage restaurant cleanliness, maintenance, and sanitation.

Customer Service:

Ensure a positive customer experience by providing prompt, friendly, and efficient service. Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner. Maintain high standards of customer service and operational excellence.

Team Leadership:

Assist in recruiting, training, and developing team members. Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to staff. Create a positive and motivating work environment.

Financial Management:

Assist in achieving financial targets, including sales, labor, and food cost goals. Conduct regular financial analysis and reporting. Assist in developing and implementing cost control measures.

Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, company policies, and local, state, and federal laws. Maintain accurate records for health inspections and audits.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience, within the last 5 years, in a restaurant management role, preferably in the fast-food industry. Strong leadership and team-building skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
