Owners About Bad Nina’s:

Bad Nina’s is a brand new gourmet hot dog truck that offers authentic Chicago hot dogs, grilled cheese sandwiches and seasonal American food. We’re permanently located in the parking lot of Attic Brewing Co. in Germantown, which shares the same ownership.

Must have:

Driver’s license 2 or more years experience in food service or equivalent education Experience towing a trailer is a plus

Detail Communication Skills Organizational Skills Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook a menu of gourmet street foods according to standardized recipes Cook and transport food from commissary kitchen to food trailer Ensure all meals are prepared with respect to individual customer allergies and dietary preferences (e.g. gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan) Maintain consistent food quality, presentation, and speed of service during peak hours Operate and manage the food truck during service hours, including setup, breakdown, and cleaning Operate kitchen equipment including grills, deep fryers, and char grill Monitor and manage inventory levels, prep needs, and daily ingredient restocking Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are always upheld Communicate directly with the owner on menu planning, supply ordering, and kitchen performance Familiarity with POS/register systems and ability to manage cash register operations Train and supervise any additional food truck staff (if applicable) Represent the Bad Nina’s brand with professionalism and personality when interacting with customers Assist with events, pop-ups and off site events

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen or food truck environment Strong cooking skills, especially with grilled meats, sauces, and street food Ability to work independently and manage a mobile kitchen solo if needed Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures; Food Safety Certificate and ServSafe Manager certification a plus Comfortable lifting 50+ lbs, standing for long periods, and working in hot, small spaces Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Passionate about food, creativity, and customer experience
