Overview:

Mamajuana Cafe Restaurant and Lounge is a vibrant and fast-paced establishment known for its unique ambiance, delicious cuisine, and exceptional service. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team and lead our operations.

Responsibilities:

Overall Operations Management:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and lounge.
Ensure smooth and efficient functioning of all departments, including kitchen, bar, dining areas, and private events.
Implement and maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, and safety.

Team Leadership and Training:

Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff, including servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff.
Foster a positive work environment and provide ongoing coaching and development to enhance team performance.
Set performance goals, conduct evaluations, and address any issues or concerns promptly.

Customer Experience and Satisfaction:

Ensure guests receive exceptional service and have a memorable dining experience.
Monitor customer feedback and reviews, addressing any concerns and implementing improvements as needed.
Maintain a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for guests and handle any guest inquiries or complaints effectively.

Financial Management:

Manage budgets, costs, and expenses to optimize profitability while maintaining quality standards.
Monitor sales trends, analyze financial reports, and implement strategies to drive revenue and reduce costs.
Oversee inventory management, ordering supplies, and controlling food and beverage costs.

Compliance and Regulations:

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards, as well as licensing and legal requirements.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices, implementing changes as necessary.
Uphold Mamajuana Cafe’s policies and procedures, promoting a culture of integrity and professionalism.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a must. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations with composure.
Knowledge of restaurant operations, including food and beverage service, inventory management, and customer service.
Familiarity with industry regulations and standards.
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field is preferred.
