The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our establishment, ensuring exceptional customer service, and assisting in the management of staff. This position requires strong leadership skills, effective time management, and the ability to communicate clearly with both customers and team members. The Assistant Manager will also be responsible for inventory control and sales management while fostering a positive work environment. Responsibilities Assist in overseeing daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Manage and train team members, promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration. Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain financial records. Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock management to prevent shortages or overstock situations. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Support sales initiatives by implementing promotional strategies and tracking performance metrics. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations. Communicate effectively with staff to ensure clarity of tasks and expectations. Experience Proven experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably within a fine dining restaurant environment. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Experience in team management, demonstrating the ability to lead and motivate a diverse group of individuals. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills for accurate financial transactions. Knowledge of inventory control processes is highly desirable. Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a diverse employee base. Experience in training development is beneficial for fostering employee growth within the team.
