Position Summary:

The Assistant Manager will play a key leadership role in ensuring the efficient day-to-day operations of both front- and back-of-house functions. This position works closely with and supports the General Manager to supervise staff, maintain service excellence, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with all operational standards. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, professional, organized, and capable of leading a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Support day-to-day operations of the restaurant Supervise FOH and BOH staff during shift, leading by example Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management of team members Ensure high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and guest service Ensure exceptional guest experiences through attentive service and problem resolution Communicate effectively with team members and leadership Assist with catering execution, promotions, and facility events Help train, mentor, and motivate staff to grow with the company Enforce health, safety, and sanitation standards Responsible for accurate recording of cash transactions Contribute to financial goals by managing labor costs, reducing waste, and supporting sales initiatives

Qualifications:

2+ years of management experience in a restaurant, brewery, or hospitality role preferred Strong leadership and communication skills is a must Experience with scheduling, inventory, and team supervision Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays Knowledge of craft beer or a passion for the brewing industry is a plus Reliable, organized, and goal-oriented
