The Sea Pines Resort is seeking a passionate and experienced Food & Beverage General Manager to lead all dining and beverage operations at The Beach Club—our premier oceanfront venue. This role is responsible for overseeing the culinary, bar, and service teams to ensure exceptional guest experiences, operational efficiency, and high service standards that reflect the luxury and reputation of The Sea Pines Resort.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all food and beverage operations at The Beach Club, including upscale dining, beachfront bar, and seasonal service areas. Ensure consistent delivery of outstanding guest service in all dining venues, with attention to quality, timeliness, and hospitality. Recruit, train, mentor, and schedule front-of-house and bar teams, fostering a positive and professional team culture. Collaborate with the Executive Chef to ensure culinary excellence, consistency, and timely execution of menus. Monitor and manage labor costs, inventory, food and beverage costs, and overall department budget performance. Drive revenue through exceptional service, upselling, special events, and guest engagement strategies. Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant operation in accordance with health, safety, and sanitation standards. Resolve guest concerns professionally, efficiently, and in alignment with resort policies. Oversee all POS systems, service protocols, and coordination between service areas to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Work closely with resort marketing and events teams to support F&B-related programming and promotions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in high-volume, upscale food and beverage operations, preferably in a resort or coastal setting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead diverse teams. Proven ability to manage financials, cost controls, scheduling, and inventory systems. Deep knowledge of wine, spirits, and bar operations; ServSafe and TIPS certifications preferred. Excellent communication and guest-service skills, with a focus on attention to detail. Proficiency with restaurant POS systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and during peak resort seasons.
