GENERAL MANAGER
. We’re back to our roots, and this time we’ve got Chef Jason Stanhope leading the way. Embracing the essence of a fish camp while drawing on his strong relationships with local purveyors and experience in some of Charleston’s most renowned kitchens, the James Beard award-winning chef is ushering in an exciting new era for us. As the Restaurant Genera Manager, the services you shall preform but not limited to are: The selecting, interviewing, hiring, training, managing, scheduling, disciplining, and conducting of performance reviews of all FOH personnel. Developing, executing, and implementing an appropriate and sustainable business plans for the business in a manner which best promotes and facilitates financial growth and development; Ensuring weekly beverage and food inventories are conducted and that the forecasted beverage and food costs are met; Working closely with the Executive Chef and other management to ensure the success of each department; The management and oversight of the business at the level necessary to meet or exceed expectations consistent with a restaurant operating at the highest threshold of Charleston operational standards; Ensuring that the business is, at all times, operating, functioning, and otherwise managing costs and expenses in a manner which maximizes the restaurant profitability and financial potential; The management and administration of all aspects of sourcing, storing, administering, purchasing, and serving food on behalf of the business; Overseeing the restaurant while in service, including managing employees, speaking with guests, and ensuring guest satisfaction; Ensuring that businesses operation and practices with respect to the foregoing are in compliance with the law, including without limitation all labor laws and regulations, and further ensuring that such practices are otherwise consistent with the policies and procedures established by ownership.
