General Manager CudaCo Seafood House Charleston, SC 29412 Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurants, market and retail space. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the seafood industry, ensuring that our establishment runs smoothly while providing exceptional service to our guests and associates. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, training new employees, and maintaining high standards of food quality and customer satisfaction. Duties Lead and manage all aspects of operations, including staff management, inventory control, and customer service. Train, mentor, and develop staff to ensure a high level of performance and adherence to company standards. Oversee the hiring process for new employees, ensuring that all team members align with our values and mission. Implement effective strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and improve overall experiences. Manage financial aspects of the operation, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the food service environment. Utilize Clover POS system for efficient order processing and inventory management. Manage E-commerce sales, packing and shipping. Beverage ordering tasting and pricing. Proficient in QuickBooks, excel and website management. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and quality presentation. Experience Proven experience in a leadership role within the restaurant or food service industry is essential. Strong background in bartending or cooking is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability in team management with a focus on staff training and development. Familiarity with restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house processes. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both staff and customers. A passion for delivering exceptional experiences while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Extensive knowledge in wine, Sommelier Level one preferred.
