Pay range:
$50,000-60,000 per year as a salaried full-timeemployee. This position may be required to work evenings, weekends, andholidays. This position is benefit eligible after the first 30 days ofemployment. Essential Duties for the
Back of House BOH Manager:
Ensure compliance with regulations, control costs, and maintainour standards. Keep team updated on menus, promotions, and events. Address maintenance, hygiene, and safety concernspromptly. Align financial performance with resort objectives. Maintain food control systems/margins and menu relevance withthe Executive Chef. Perform assigned duties as needed. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Leadership:
Overseeing up to 30 positions directly (Sous Chef, Line Cooks,Utility Workers). Recruit, hire, train, manage, and develop kitchen staff. Manage kitchen operations, quality, and admin functions. Foster good communication and relationships across the SnowshoeMountain. Strong leadership, communication, and customer serviceskills. Flexible and resilient attitude towards work situations.
Experience:
Managing a high volume quick turnaround kitchen with tickettimes of less than 20 minutes Five+ years in a related role. Food Cost Management Intermediate food hygiene qualification. Two+ years of post-high school education preferred, culinaryeducation desirable. Resort experience preferred. West Virginia Food Handlers Certificate required.
