General Manager (GM) Cape Fear Seafood Company (North Myrtle Beach) 1386 US Highway 17 North, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582 Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant management, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and fostering a positive work environment. This role requires a hands-on leader who is passionate about the food service industry, particularly in casual dining and quick-service fast food environments. Responsibilities Lead and manage all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of service and quality. Scheduling, bar managing, Oversee staff recruitment, training, and performance management to build a motivated team. Implement effective strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales growth. Manage inventory, ordering, and cash handling processes to maintain operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as company policies. Utilize Aloha POS systems for efficient order processing and reporting. Collaborate with the catering team to coordinate events and special functions. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain positive relationships. Monitor financial performance and implement cost-control measures as needed. Qualifications Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar leadership role within the food service industry. Strong knowledge of bartending practices is preferred but not required. Familiarity with Toast systems or similar point-of-sale technology is advantageous. Excellent cash handling skills with attention to detail in financial transactions. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team effectively. Experience in catering services is a plus, enhancing our offerings for special events.
