FOH Manager Eats and Sweets Ridgeland, SC 29936 Job Summary The Front of House Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests. This position involves overseeing the daily operations of the front of house, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of service and food safety. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate front of house staff to ensure efficient service and guest satisfaction. Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and guest flow to optimize the dining experience. Train and mentor staff in food service management, bartending, and cash handling procedures. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations throughout all operations. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and courtesy. Oversee the operation of the POS system to ensure accurate order processing and payment handling. Assist in catering events as needed, ensuring that all aspects are executed flawlessly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain effective communication regarding menu items and special requests. Conduct regular inspections of the dining area to ensure cleanliness and adherence to fine dining standards. Manage shift schedules and staffing levels to meet operational needs. Requirements Proven experience in food service management or a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality environment. Strong knowledge of food production processes, food safety regulations, and fine dining service standards. Experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures is essential. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members effectively. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by operational needs. Previous experience in bartending or catering is a plus but not mandatory.
