Food Service Manager Archway Academy 2049 Mccrays Mill Road, Sumter, SC 29154 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Service Manager to oversee our food service operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality management, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences. This role requires a blend of operational expertise, creativity in menu planning, and the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Duties Lead and manage all aspects of food service operations, including kitchen management, restaurant management, and catering services. Develop and implement menus that reflect current trends while meeting customer preferences. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all food preparation areas. Oversee banquet services, ensuring smooth execution of events from planning through service. Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance to foster a positive work environment and enhance team productivity. Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling costs to maximize profitability. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery across all areas of the establishment. Experience Proven experience in hospitality management or related fields such as restaurant management or food management. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Experience in bartending or catering is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence.
