Academy – Mustang Marketplace Assistant Manager Position Available In Davidson, Tennessee

Lipscomb Academy is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager for the Mustang Marketplace to oversee the daily operations of our Upper School and Lower School stores, including the Mustang Coffee Co. (cafe). The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, interacting daily with customers to create a positive shopping experience, proactively solving problems professionally, promptly, and efficiently. In addition, this candidate will set and reinforce clear and aligned selling expectations, performance, results, and accountability with all associates. Barista skills and food and beverage experience are preferred. Candidates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store will stand out. You will identify the family’s needs, answer questions about our products and services, and recommend solutions as needed. A positive attitude and a solid understanding of customer service principles and practices will make you successful in this role. Your daily interaction with the students throughout the school day is a heartwarming blessing to look forward to daily. This candidate will hold the weekly F & B ordering responsibilities and pricing of all F & B items. Creating new food and beverage options.

Requirements and Skills:

Excellent organizational and leadership skills Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships Ability to perform in fast fast-paced environment Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures Ability to work well in a team environment Assist the manager in monthly inventory, cost analysis, and budget responsibilities

Qualifications:

Some college (preferred) Able to occasionally lift 50 lbs.
