Assistant Manager Uptown Food Stores d/b/a Save A Lot 1113 Murfreesboro Pike, Nashville, TN 37217

Responsibilities:

• Assist the manager in overseeing daily operations of the business
• Manage and supervise a team of employees
• Conduct interviews and assist with the hiring process
• Train and develop new employees
• Ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times
• Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
• Assist with payroll processing and employee scheduling
• Communicate effectively with customers, employees, and vendors
• Implement and enforce company policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to sell products or services effectively
• Knowledge of wireless sales is a plus
• Proficient in cash handling procedures
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Experience in recruiting, interviewing, and training development is desirable
