Food Truck Manager Broken Paddle Outfitters Nashville, TN 37221
Overview:
Broken Paddle Outfitters is seeking a motivated and experienced Food Truck Manager to oversee operations at our stationary food truck, Fork and Paddle , located in scenic Bellevue, TN (15 min West of Nashville). This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone passionate about great food, customer service, and team management. You will be responsible for all aspects of food truck operations from Memorial Day through Labor Day, with the opportunity to continue based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook high-quality menu items in a timely manner Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times Ensure compliance with all local food health and safety regulations Manage food inventory, place weekly orders, and maintain vendor relationships Provide input on menu development and seasonal offerings Hire, train, and schedule seasonal staff Oversee daily staff operations and ensure excellent customer service Track sales, monitor performance, and make operational improvements as needed Coordinate with Broken Paddle Outfitters leadership to align food truck operations with broader business goals
Qualifications:
Proven experience in food service or kitchen management (food truck experience a plus) Strong cooking skills and a passion for high-quality, approachable cuisine Knowledge of food safety practices and local health department regulations Excellent leadership and organizational skills Ability to work independently and handle a fast-paced, customer-facing environment Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays Must be 18 years or older and able to lift 50 lbs
Hours & Schedule:
Full-time, seasonal Open 7 days a week from Memorial Day to Labor Day, with a possible extension into fall depending on demand
